Nearly Despairing with Stephen King, or The First Part Hope

I cannot wait to read “On Writing.” Stephen King is one of my very favorite writers. I get a lot of crap for that in Park Hall (the English Department at the University of Georgia) but literary snobs be damned, I love Stephen King. He is prolific and he is a wonderful story teller and, in my opinion, he’s a really good writer. A good writer writes a book that sucks you in from the beginning to the end, and that’s Stephen King.
As soon as I graduate (December 5), I’m buying a copy of “On Writing” and finally, finally reading it.
